Someone recently asked me why I chose the name Nostalgic Tours. For me, the answer is simple: in life there are only two certainties—one day we all leave this world, and everyone is nostalgic about something. Maybe it’s a childhood place, a song, the street where you grew up… but nostalgia lives in all of us.

My own nostalgia is for Bruges.

I was born and raised here. I went to school in these streets, kissed my first girlfriend under one of the four windmills, swam in the canals, climbed the Church of Our Lady, worked student jobs across the city, and partied here every week during my rebellious years. I even played a small role in In Bruges with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

I carry thousands of real, authentic stories about what it’s like to grow up in this magical place.

A tour with Nostalgic Tours is never boring—though it’s not stand-up comedy either. I offer historical walking tours and tasting tours, fueled by my addiction to history.
